Metal working contractors rate Midwest Snips as a top choice for metal snips. With 5 stars after more than 3,000 reviews the quality of these top-rated snips speaks for itself. Longer-lasting forged blades, quality springs, and smooth comfortable grips will make every job easier on you and your hands.
DCL Supply is also now stocking a complementary range of other sheet-metal hand tools including tinners, folding bars, sheet metal hammers, and more (see below).
Midwest snips are superior hot drop-forged Glidetech ® blades to produce the best strength, the longest lasting edge life, and the most precise cutting action. The hot drop forged process uses the grain structure of steel to produce maximum strength. High Tensile strength steel handles will not bend from hand pressure.
Midwest snips come with unique, patent-pending "Kush’n-Power" ® grips to provide stable gripping and handles that conform to the users hand. The snips also require 20% less force, meaning less strain on your hand to cut "pinch to point" thru 18 gauge cold-rolled sheet steel. Indented ribs prevent hand and finger slippage.
A double-overwound spring on Midwest snips exceeds 120,000 compressions without failure. Most competitors have an average fail rate below 80,000 compressions. Combined with the strong hot drop-forged blades and steel handles these tools are made to last. Midwest are also an OEM with the entire range of tools 100% made in the US to the highest quality standards.
